How to Find Purpose and Becoming A Better You

Who am I? Why am I here? What am I supposed to do with my life?

These are some of the questions I struggle with every day.

I live. I breathe. I eat. I work. But is that all there is to life? To put all these things in perspective, let me give you a little background about myself.

I’m a young married lady in my twenties. We (my partner and I) are expecting our first baby soon. My partner and I work from home as digital marketers.

Working as a digital entrepreneur is not as simple as it sounds. It involves constant learning, optimization, testing, and deploying several marketing tactics until you find the one that works.

Now imagine doing this for several businesses at scale. That is exactly what our business is about.

We deal with other factors like finding the best way to receive or send money abroad, managing late payments, reducing running costs by looking for coupon codes online etc.

Sometimes we had to use the principle in the law of attraction to attract the type of clients we want after dealing with so many toxic clients.

This is stressful and can drain one’s energy. But, we stick through it together.

Actually, my partner do the major lifting while I just support him on the side both emotionally and physically.

We’ve known each other since 2013 and been together since 2016. We’re pretty a solid team.

We go through the success and the failure together. And this include the daily struggles of building a profitable business from home.

Sometimes, our happy hormones are on a high level. This happens especially when we close deals and make money.

We laugh, we gist, we pay our bills. We feel on top of the world.

Then, at other times, when the deals are not closing and the money is not flowing, we feel so helpless. Our happy hormones are at the minimum and we quarrel over the smallest of things that don’t matter.

And then the cycle continues. Happy days and not so happy days.

Is this what life is all about?

Why am I here?

I’m on a journey of self discovery. I want the best for myself, my family and those around me. But sometimes, I feel that this is just a dream.

My reality is saying something different. I refuse to dwell on the negative side of life but focus on the positive side of life.

This is one of the things I learnt from the Manifestation Miracle book. The universe only respond to the type of energy you exhibit.

It’s just funny that the realities of life have a way of messing up your mind when you least expect it to.

For example, just yesterday, I was feeling like eating vegetables and fruits and some other things just for the well-being of myself and baby. Then, on returning from the market, I found my Mother-in-Law waiting for me at home with vegetables and the other things I need.

It happened that she was passing near our state and she decided to surprise us.

This is the law of attraction in action here. It works only if you apply your mind to it.

Becoming a better me

The only constant thing in life is change. And that’s why I make sure that I challenge myself everyday to become a better me.

It is not easy to make a conscious effort to become better but it is possible.

One thing I have come to realize about life is that where there’s a will, there is always a way.

If you want to become a better version of yourself everyday, you’ll always find a way to do it. And it doesn’t even matter if the odds are against you. Things will always work out well for you.

This article is completely random and not what I wanted to write about initially. These thoughts just flowed out of me.

I hope someone out there will be able to make sense out of this. Challenge yourself to become a better version of yourself every day. When you do this, you’ll eventually find what you’re looking for.



Health, Fitness, Food, And Pregnancy

Hi, all!! Yesterday marked week 34 in my pregnancy and it is getting harder each week. I am pretty uncomfortable at this point. I feel best on my side with my pregnancy pillow.

Overall, for being close to the end I’d say I am doing well! I am staying (mostly) healthy, continuing to workout, and doing my best at work. I am trying to embrace the short time left of just my husband and I. We are so ready for this new journey and already love this little one so much!

I hope my cats love our little as much as they love my belly haha!

As far as fitness goes, I have soley been working out at home the past couple of weeks. I have a little home gym and spend around 30 minutes each day (with a day or 2 off) to do some prenatal workouts.
